Gudiela is a tireless defender of Embera women's rights and has promoted gender equality. Her community has been forced to remain confined to their homes due to the armed conflict in Colombia.
"Everything is a risk... We are not free, we are not calm," she says.
In addition to restrictions on their mobility, her community is concerned about the risk to women in the territory. "I can't sleep, I can't walk, I can't be alone. Everything is a risk for us," she says.
