NRC Secretary General Jan Egeland visits a school for Sudanese refugee children in Metche camp.
NRC opened a school for Sudanese refugees in February 2024 in Metche Camp. Children from Darfur are finally back in school after months missing out on education. They have all witnessed terrible atrocities back home, including executions, rapes, family separations and looting of their homes.
