In this indigenous community, there was only a classroom where all the boys and girls received their education. However, due to the armed conflict a few months ago, there was clashes between armed groups near the community and due to the shots, the school infrastructure had holes in its walls and roof. Parents did not want to send their children to class out of fear.
We arrived in their community and began the construction of two temporary classrooms to guarantee that the boys and girls would continue with their education, and have a safer and more appropriate place for their training and protection.
The population works as a community to achieve this goal.
