The remains of Sanjedak informal settlement. This settlement was previously home to 219 households, mostly displaced from Moqur area. On the 12th of December, Sanjedak settlement was fully evicted, and the remaining shelters destroyed. Like many of the settlements in Qala-e-Naw, the land was owned privately, and most of the displaced families were asked to pay 100 Afghani a month in rent, a fee that many could not afford.
